Making Alchemer Reports Look Nice

Here are two easy steps I always perform when creating a new report to make it easier to read and understand.

1.
Create a New Report

New and copied reports need some tweaking to make it easy to read.

2.
Original Reporting View

The result for this question shows two charts and is missing some of the answer options because no one selected them.

3.
Select Report Options

We can update the whole report at one time in “report options.” Afterwards you can adjust individual questions using each question’s options.

4.
Deselect Chart

Deselecting “Chart” removes the large and redundant and pie chart.

5.

6.
Select Answer Options/Rows With No Data

Selecting this will show answer options that no one selected. This is helpful because, for example, we want to know that “poor” was an option and that no one selected it.

7.
Adjust any other options and save

For example, if you have a lot of open-ended responses, you can collapse them by default.
